The internet has changed the world in the past 20 years and even the very nature of democracy. What was unthinkable in the past becomes a reality with Parliamentwatch: Citizens are enabled to engage in direct communication with their representatives and candidates. You can ask questions, endorse a petition or find out more information about your representative. It is quite straightforward and marks nothing less than a revolutionary step from representative democracy to direct democracy. Nowadays we see our offer as complementary to the other forms of curated dialogue with politicians (social media, other plattforms, emails...).
